2025-26 Meeting Schedule

The IAC Equity and Diversity Subcommittee meets Wednesdays from 10-11:30 a.m., unless otherwise noted

Committee members will be automatically added to a Google Calendar invite for these meetings at the beginning of the 2025-26 academic year.

The functions of the Equity and Diversity Subcommittee are to:

1. Report regularly to the IAC about the activities of the subcommittee and recommend to IAC such actions or policies it deems appropriate.
2. Make recommendations to IAC regarding gender equity and minority opportunities. IAC chair and subcommittee co-chairs meet with the athletics director to review the progress of the University in achieving equity in the 13 components of Title IX as applied to athletics and the identified eight minority opportunity goals.

Proposed but not limited membership:

• 3 faculty members (tenure track and P&A teaching faculty),
• 1 faculty representative,
• at least 2 student-athletes and/or other at large members.

The athletics director (or designee), the director of compliance (or designee), and the system Title IX Coordinator, shall serve as ex officio (with no vote). A faculty member of the subcommittee and the system Title IX Coordinator shall serve as co-chairs.

NOTE: The IAC approves membership of its subcommittees. However, Membership of the subcommittee may be recommended to the IAC for approval.
