All too often we hear positivity being associated with certain personality types, being naive, living a charmed life, or facing little hardship. This is simply not accurate! An ability to leverage positivity in everyday life is possible for anyone who chooses it, but can often be more complex than just "thinking positive."

Using personal experience and research in brain science and positive psychology, Whitney Moore will present a new understanding of what positivity is and strategies for leveraging it in everyday life. We’ll have a conversation about how choice, mindfulness, and growth mindset can help us develop positivity as a skill that will ultimately lead to more wellbeing and happiness; NO rose-colored glasses required!

Come one, come all! All UMN staff are welcome to join this presentation brought to you by the Professional Development and Recognition Subcommittee of P&A Senate.
