The Civil Service Consultative Committee represents the civil service staff, rather than the individual campuses, institutes, colleges, schools, or departments of the University. The Civil Service Consultative Committee serves as the consulting body to the president and as executive committee of the Civil Service Senate.
The Professional Development and Enrichment Subcommittee (PD&E) encourages P&A to participate in professional development opportunities by hosting events that touch on a variety of topics including strategic content to fill gaps in knowledge, educational content related to new or updated policies, and timely and/or responsive feedback to events in the community or workplace climate.
The P&A Senate Outreach Subcommittee promotes representation of P&A personnel within University governance and assists P&A Senate members and alternate members with governance activities within the P&A Senate.
The P&A Senate Communications Subcommittee enhances the image of the P&A by publicizing the work of the P&A Senate and the achievements of P&A to all stakeholders.
The P&A Senate Benefits and Compensation Subcommittee considers issues and advocates to improve policies related to the benefits and compensation of P&A staff.
The P&A Consultative Committee represents the P&A at large, rather than the individual campuses, institutes, colleges, schools, or departments of the University. The P&A Consultative Committee serves as the consulting body to the president and as executive committee of the P&A Senate.
All P&As are welcome to submit issues for consideration by the PACC and P&A Senate.
The Senate Consultative Committee comprises ten faculty, seven students, two P&A staff, two civil service staff, the University Senate vice chair, the past Faculty Consultative Committee chair, and three ex officio members. The chair of the committee is the chair of the Faculty Consultative Committee.
The Student Senate Nominating Subcommittee reviews nominees/applicants for vacant Student Senate seats on the Twin Cities campus, and makes recommendations to the Student Senate for approval.
The Student Senate Consultative Committee (SSCC) is the executive committee of the Student Senate. The SSCC represents University of Minnesota students at large and the seven recognized University of Minnesota student government organizations, including the Council of Graduate Students (COGS), Crookston Student Association (CSA), Undergraduate Student Government (USG), Morris Campus Student Association (MCSA), Professional Student Government (PSG), Rochester Student Association (RSA), and the University of Minnesota Duluth Student Government Association (UMDSGA).
